Since the death of her husband, Frank Boos in 2006, Nancy has continued the Boos’ tradition of providing fair and objective valuation appraisals of personal property for insurance, estate tax, dispersal, divorce and resale purposes.

Nancy Boos holds herself out as qualified to appraise personal property by virtue of her having owned and operated the Frank H. Boos Gallery for twenty-seven of its fifty years in existence.  During her tenure at the Gallery, and after its closing in 2007, Nancy has continued to serve as an appraiser of personal property for private clients, museums and corporations.  She has always been qualified by the IRS to prepare appraisals.

She has participated in the Appraisers Association of America programs in New York on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and has taken and passed the examination in connection therewith.  She has also attended conferences in New York on Art Law.

Nancy would be happy to provide you with a course of action with regard to your personal property at no charge to you.

In addition, Nancy is able to direct clients to the appropriate venue for disposal of their personal property.  She is also able to guide clients through the consignment process in international auction houses where language and consignment practices differ from those in the United States.
